Manuscript Template

All submissions to Terra Alimentaria must strictly follow our official formatting guidelines. Submitting your manuscript in the correct format accelerates the peer-review process and prevents immediate desk rejection due to layout non-compliance.

Official Article Templates

Please download the specific template that matches your intended manuscript type. Do not alter the page margins, font sizes, or double-spaced line formatting provided in the files.

General Formatting Requirements

  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear, grammatically correct academic English. We strongly recommend using professional proofreading services (e.g., Grammarly) prior to submission.
  • Declarations: All manuscript types must include the mandatory Declarations section (AI Tools, Authorship & CRediT, Acknowledgments, Conflicts of Interest, Funding, Data Availability) immediately before the references.
  • Citations & References: Terra Alimentaria uses the APA 7th Edition reference format. Authors must use a reference manager such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote. Do not number the references.
  • Tables & Figures: Must be inserted directly into the text near where they are first cited, or placed at the end of the document after the references. All visuals must be high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
