Author Guidelines

Ready to submit your research? Please be sure to check the Author Guidelines first for step-by-step submission instructions. Authors are required to download and prepare their manuscript based on the template provide in Manuscript Template page.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items. Submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • Originality & Academic Integrity: The submission is entirely original, has not been previously published, and is not currently under consideration by another journal. The authors confirm the absence of plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and contract cheating (ghostwriting/joki akademik), in strict compliance with COPE guidelines and Permendiktisaintek No. 9 Tahun 2026.
  • Authorship: All listed authors meet the criteria for authorship (having made significant scientific contributions), agree with the manuscript's final contents, and explicitly consent to its submission. No ghost, guest, or gift authors are included.
  • Declarations & Ethics: The manuscript includes a consolidated Declarations section placed before the references. This includes the Data Availability Statement, Funding details, Conflicts of Interest, and Ethical Approval statements (if human or animal subjects were involved), in accordance with the Author Declaration Policy.
  • Document Format: The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.docx) format. The text is double-spaced, uses a 12-point Aptos font, and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed at the end of the document.
  • Style Guidelines: The text rigorously adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Citations & References: In-line citations and the reference list were prepared using a Reference Manager software (e.g., EndNote, Zotero, or Mendeley). Where available, active DOIs or URLs for the references have been provided.

The data entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated academic and publishing purposes of Terra Alimentaria. We will not sell, distribute, or make this personal information available for any commercial purpose or to any unauthorized third party. Published articles will display the authors' names, affiliations, and contact email addresses as part of the standard academic record.

User Rights

All registered users (authors, reviewers, and editors) have the right to view, update, or correct their personal profile information at any time by logging into their Terra Alimentaria account. Users may also contact the editorial office to request the deletion of their account and associated personal data, provided it does not conflict with the journal's obligation to maintain a permanent scientific record of published research.
